Where does your inspiration come from?

I got these gorgeous flowers from DH when he ran to the store for me. I love sending him for small things...he always comes back with flowers! Tulips are my all time favorite flower and these are just gorgeous. I had to make a card using my tulips set and the colors from these real life flowers.

2nd card for Robin's challenge

I'm not happy with the first card, so here is the 2nd card. I like this one much better!

Robin's challenge

Over at Inkstainers, it is Robin's turn to pick the weekly challenge. She challenged us to use only neutral colors and make a card that is not your typical A2 size. I wanted to go for colors I didn't think anyone else would pick...especially gray! I also used a stamp set that came in my CTMH kit that is just not my style. It's called Celebration Bouquet. I have yet to make a card with this set and like it. I see so many people using it and making beautiful cards, but nothing I try comes out. Oh well...I gave it a shot!

Scrapbook challenge

My CTMH group has challenges posted for us weekly. Since I just became a demo for them last week, this is my first. For this challenge, we were supposed to focus around a quote. The quote is "May I never miss a sunset or a rainbow because I am looking down". I used pictures of the sunset we saw every night while in Gatlinburg last year. Now, remember, I'm not really that into scrapbooking. LOL! Took me an entire week to get this 2 page layout done. It's still missing SO MUCH!

Inspired by Cindy

Here is my c.a.s.e of the RAK I got from Cindy. I posted her beautiful card below. I just fell in love with the folds on this card. What a crafty person you are Cyd! Thanks for the inspiration!

I used Boho backgrounds for this card. The cs is Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black and White. Ink is black and tempting turquoise.

Directions:

Cut your paper 11 x 4 1/4

Score at 1 1/2", 3", 5 1/2" and 8"
Oh, and the little strip of cs that holds the card together is just a scrap piece of balck that I glued together to fit the folded card. Then, I attached the circle stamp over the glued ends to hide them.

MOMMY BLING!

Look at this oh so gorgeous bracelet that I got from Melissa! She is so very talented and has a heart of gold to boot. She is the owner of MJennings Designs, LLC and she makes the most awesome jewelry ever. I've gotten several things from her before and I have to say...there is not one single item that has ever just been "nice"...everything has been AWESOME! You seriously need to check her out by clicking here. Her prices are wonderful, the quality is top notch and she has plenty of ideas to help you out. Talk about great customer service!!!

Thank you so much Melissa, I am so happy with my bracelet! My kids call it "Mom bling". LOL!

I've been Rak'd by Cindy!
