Beate's weekend sketch challenge

It's been awhile since I've participated, but I did it!!! Here is my entry into Beate's weekend sketch challenge.

I decided to use all Close To My Heart products for this card...minus the image. The image came from here.

My card base is 4 1/4 x 8 1/2.
The card stock is Colonial White and I used B&T paper from the Game On paper pack. I also used Stickease from the Game On collection.

Birthday Cards

These are 2 birthday cards I made. They are both pretty much the same, just a different shape around the image. I used Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi. I really like those colors together.

EDITED: SO SORRY, I didn't mention where I got the image of the girl with the blow dryer. I found these on this blog, Stampin When I Can. If you haven't seen her work, you MUST!

Pay it forward:

See these goodies? I got these from the Pay it Forward blog game. I responded to GQZMOMMY'S blog and she sent me this wonderful package. I received PP (MUCH NEEDED), acetate sheets, chipboard, frames...all kinds of goodies. Check her out, she is awesome! Not only is she a great crafter, she is a wonderful friend who I met online. Thanks so much gqzmommy!!! YOU ROCK!

Now, here's what you have to do: Be one of the first 3 people to respond to this post and send me your e-mail. I will get your mailing addy and send some goodies on to you. Publish on your blog when you receive them and remember to pay it forward yourself.

PASS IT FORWARD!

You won't want to miss this. More details tonight when I have a bit more time, but be on the look-out!

I'm going to need a shrink!

I'm so depressed! Let me tell you why. I am addicted to Wylers Lite Fruit Punch...basically very cheap Crystal Light. I drink about 2 quarts a day. I had my glass sitting on my desk which is right next to my stamping table. My son, Joey, comes in here, flipping his arms like a girl and knocks my glass over! There were no projects on my stamp table, so I was lucky there. But guess what? My bin of 12 x 12 PP was under it and that's where all of the water landed. I probably had to throw away 75% of my stash of 12 x 12 since it was stained with red and soaking wet. I cut off as much as I could, but it just left me with scraps. I hoard my PP, so to lose so much of it makes me sick! I've been buying it for YEARS! My brand new Berry Bliss or something like that from SU was completely ruined. I have no $ to replace all of this. WTH? Ohhhh, I was fuming. Poor Joey, he knew he was about to get it, so he took off running. He was only playing around, so I can't be mad...but I AM!!!!

Oh well, there is my post for the day. I'm going to go bury my head now.

Masculine Card

This week's challenge on Inkstainers was to come up with a masculine card. I'm not sure about the Dream stamp on the front being so masculine, but the colors really make me think it's manly. I like this card a lot and it's so not me. I'm actually surprised by myself. LOL!

Thank You notes

Here are 2 of the different styles of Thank You notes I made up. I'm just 12 weeks behind! I used a dollar stamp from Archivers. I think that little giraffe is just too stinkin cute! One card I used PP and the other I used my cuttlebug folders. I just ran it through my sizzix machine.

Stamp Club

This is a chipboard note holder we made at our stamping club on Tuesday. Isn't this awesome? I love it. Of course, green is my favorite color...this particular shade is the #1 of all green shades for me. Always has been. Yes, I am an odd ball!

Image Swap

I am in an image swap on Inkstainers. One girl send us an image and we make something with it and mail it out to one of the other participants. The first photo is the image I received in the mail and the 2nd photo is my completed project with the image. It was hard this month, but I'm happy with my results.

Sorry my second scan is lop-sided. LOL!

I'm on a roll today!

Here is a card I c.a.s.e.d off of GQZ blog. It's adorable...her card I mean! LOL!

I used Su paper and CTMH Stamp Of The Month for April which was Express Postage. The sentiment on the inside of this card is also from SU called Versatile Verses.

Paper Askew Studio's blog challenge

Pam at Paper Askew Studio posted a color challenge. This is my take on it. I am so addicted to the Boho background stamp set that I find myself getting it inky every time I want to stamp.

I feel like such a whore!

Bra is the front of the card and the thong is the back of the card.

LOL! Here is a card I made for a challenge on Inkstainers. Cindy challenged us to try something we never have before. Well, I have never made the bra card and I have CERTAINLY never given DH a card like this before!!! I think he may die of a heart attack when he reads it. I'm going to stick it in his clipboard tonight and see how long it takes for him to notice. My luck, it will fall out when he's in front of a customer writing an estimate or something. Heee heee!!! I can just hear my sister yelling "EWWWWW" from Kentucky when she reads this! ROFLMAO!

The template for this card can be found on this blog. Check out her cards. She has some amazing things on her blog!

Sympathy card

I hate making these cards...but it was for a very good/close friend of mine. Her father passed away this weekend. I made 900 versions of this card until I came up with this one. I wanted it to be just gorgeous and perfect. I love the look of this. I'm actually pleased with the way one of my cards came out...whodathunkit?

Anyway, Patty, if you are reading this...I hope you know how sorry I am for you and your family. ((((HUGS))))
